What's it all about?

What's it all about?
Fun!

Myself, Ian, and Andrew do a cycle ride every year for a week's holiday, touring the tracks and trails of Northern Scotland for a few hundred miles. This year we thought it might be nice to get a bit of early training in and rack up a few miles excercise, and before we knew where we were we were planning a trip from Inverness to Glasgow over 5 days as a warm up! We both then decided we didn't have the holidays for five days, so decided for a mad dash in 3 days, well really just 2 and half as we wouldn't get to Inverness until late morning! This training run was now a serious challenge, and Alan, & Alex liked the sound of it, so that was them in!

About the same time, an email came out at my work (National Australia Group) saying NAG had changed their charity to back Help the Hospices. Which started the ball rolling about "This is hard...why don't we see if we can get sponsored!" We all agreed and wanted to support our local children's hospice, Robin House, which is funded by Children's Hospice Assosiation Scotland (CHAS) which get's funding from Help the Hospices charity. So, we now had a challenge and a cause! Please follow the links and see the amazing work those guys(and gals) do!

At my frequent meetings with EMC, I brought up the topic, and Paul decided he would join us also as he's from Balloch (where Robin House is) and he likes a chellenge!

Simple as that!
